Becky is one of our Group Leaders at Faust. Becky trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education. Since then, Becky has worked both as a director - creating plays for young audiences, and as a youth theatre leader, touring across Europe, Asia and Africa. Highlights of Becky’s career so far include directing Simon Armitage’s play for young actors, Eclipse, as part of the Connections Festival at The National Theatre, London and touring with her own company, LPA Theatre, with performances at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Lake of Stars. I love teaching drama and directing stories. Ronja is one of our Group Leaders at Faust. Growing in Sweden, Ronja specialised in physical theatre at Nordiska Folkhogskolan in Gothenburg and then started working for Teater Albatross, where she directed various productions. In 2012 she moved to London and got her BA (Hons) in Performing Arts at Kingston University and studied more classical theatre such as Stanislavski, Shakespeare, Chekhov and Meisner.  Before joining Faust, Ronja taught drama both in Sweden and London for all ages. During her last year at Kingston she was Head of Children’s Drama Classes where she also taught for a year. Aviva is a former member at Faust International Youth Theatre, and has since then been involved in many staged productions. In 2018, Aviva appeared with her family in in the BBC documentary, Wonders of the Moon. More recently, she featured in Emily Ting’s semi-autobiographical comedy, Go Back To China. Happy Easter Holidays to you all! The Easter break is a great time to continue your child's learning experiences in a fun and creative way, here at Faust International Youth Theatre. At Faust, we’ve been thinking about the beautiful ocean that surrounds our inspiring city and all the stories that we could be inspired to create or perform from it as our starting point for our creative endeavors. Easter Theatre Programme (ages 4 to 12) This Easter we will be creating stories inspired by the sea. The Winter Holidays are a magical time of year for all people and cultures in Hong Kong, and this is no different here at Faust International Youth Theatre. What could be more magical than the gift of storytelling, both through drama or creative writing, for your children at this time of year? Winter Theatre The holidays are a time for fun and learning. Here at Faust, we believe those things should never be separate. Allow your child to dive into festive tales and set their imaginations on fire by playing different characters and gaining confidence in our Holiday Theatre Programme. In the past, I’ve written a play called All I want for the Holidays is you! which is a bout reindeers that learn to be friends and help Santa deliver presents. What I love with the story is how it portrays how we can change our lives by taking charge of the situation we are in. By guiding the people around us to a more inviting, forgiving and caring environment, we can melt even the coldest hearts. We have been exploring the story using physical theatre, mask work, devising and objectives in order to give it as many dimensions as possible. Being a part of Nutcracker the Play has been a wonderful, meaningful and interesting journey. My main focus has been on the development of the characters throughout the play.
